Grindex Minex – Submersible Pump

The Grindex Minex Submersible Drainage Pump is a compact, highly portable electrical submersible drainage pump designed for dewatering applications involving raw water with abrasive solids. Available in 1-phase, 3-phase, and Lite configurations, it offers power ratings up to 1.4 kW, maximum flow rates reaching nearly 12 L/s, and handles solids passage up to 7.5 mm via its 2″ discharge connection

The Grindex Minex Submersible Drainage Pump is ideal for light-to-medium dewatering in construction sites, industrial sumps, utility trenching, and emergency water removal. It operates at submersion depths up to 20 metres (66 ft), handles liquid temperatures up to 40C, supports a pH range of 5 to 8, and manages liquid densities up to 1100 kg/m³

Key Details

• Features a stainless steel outer casing and motor shaft, aluminum casted parts, a wear-resistant Hard-Iron™ impeller, and Nitrile rubber diffusers.

• Equipped with an IP68-rated squirrel cage induction motor (Insulation Class F). 3-phase models feature Grindex’s SMART system (phase sequence control, phase failure guard, thermal contacts opening at 125C, while 1-phase models include a stator thermal guard and start/run capacitors. Both include an integrated air valve for dry-running capabilities.

• Operates with a pre-assembled double mechanical seal running in an oil compartment (silicon carbide on the lower seal, tungsten carbide/aluminium oxide on the upper seal).

• Compatible with float switches, zinc anodes, pump rafts, and low suction collars.
