Grindex Solid – Sludge Pump

The Grindex Solid Submersible Sludge Pump is a compact, single-phase electrical submersible sludge pump designed for dewatering applications involving muddy water, sludge, and light slurry. Weighing just 17 kg with a slim 200 mm diameter, this portable pump delivers a rated power output of 0.9 kW and can handle large solids passage up to 38 mm via its 2″ discharge connection.

The Grindex Solid Submersible Sludge Pump is ideal for pumping light sludge, muddy water, and site run-off across construction, municipal, emergency drainage, and industrial sump applications. It operates at submersion depths up to 10 metres (33 ft), tolerates liquid temperatures up to 40C and supports a pH range of 5 to 8.

Key Details

• Built with an aluminium pump top, outer casing, and stator housing, combined with a stainless steel motor shaft, polyurethane impeller, and polyurethane pump housing.

• Features an IP68-rated single-phase squirrel cage induction motor with an integrated thermal guard in the stator that cuts power at 135C. Uses separate start and run capacitors on 50 Hz models.

• Operates with a double mechanical seal system running in an oil compartment, featuring silicon carbide on the lower seal and carbon/aluminium oxide on the upper seal.

• Includes a 10 m power cable (3G1mm²) and supports optional float switch accessories for automatic level control. Only weighs 17kg so is easy to transport.
