Grindex Senior – Sludge Pump

The Grindex Senior Sludge Pump is a heavy-duty 3.2 kW electrical submersible sludge pump built for continuous, reliable dewatering of thick mud, light slurry, and heavily contaminated water. Designed to excel in demanding environments such as civil engineering sites, quarries, open-pit mines, and industrial sumps.

Engineered with an expansive 80 mm solids passage, the Grindex Senior sludge pump easily handles large debris and solids without clogging. Its durable construction features a stainless steel outer casing, an aluminium/polyurethane pump housing, and a Hard-Iron™ impeller designed for maximum resistance against severe abrasive wear.

It also comes equipped with Grindex’s SMART motor protection system, which automatically guards against phase failure, incorrect phase sequence, and high temperatures with a 140C thermal cutoff.

Operating at a slow 1400 r.p.m. shaft speed to reduce internal hydraulic wear, the Grindex Senior delivers high-volume pumping up to 26 L/s and maximum pumping heads reaching 10 metres.

Based on the same basic design as the drainage pumps, the sludge pumps come into action when the liquid gets dirtier than can be handled by the drainage pumps. The design even permits converting between drainage and sludge models allowing you to adapt the pump according to the varying conditions.
