Grindex Minette – Submersible Pump

The Grindex Minette Submersible Drainage Pump is a portable electrical submersible drainage pump engineered for effective dewatering in tough construction, industrial, and municipal environments. Available in 1-phase (1.5 kW) and 3-phase (2.2 kW) configurations, this 29 kg pump handles flow rates up to 20 L/s and solids passage up to 9 mm via a 3″ discharge connection.

The Grindex Minette Submersible Drainage Pump is ideal for general site dewatering, utility trenching, quarry sumps, and industrial water management. It operates at submersion depths up to 20 metres (66 ft), handles liquid temperatures up to 40C and supports a pH range of 5 to 8.

Key Details

• Built with a stainless steel outer casing and motor shaft, cast aluminum components, a wear-resistant Hard-Iron™ impeller and suction cover, and Nitrile rubber diffusers.

• Features an IP68-rated squirrel cage induction motor (Insulation Class F) with integrated air valves. 3-phase models incorporate Grindex’s SMART system (phase sequence control, phase failure guard, and thermal contacts opening at 125C, while 1-phase models feature stator thermal guards and start/run capacitors.

• Operates with a double mechanical seal running in an oil compartment (silicon carbide on the lower seal, tungsten carbide/aluminium oxide on the upper seal).

• Compatible with float switches, zinc anodes, low suction collars, and pump rafts.
