The Grindex Mega Submersible Drainage Pump is a heavy-duty 3-phase electrical submersible drainage pump engineered for high-volume, deep-submersion dewatering applications. Available in Normal Head (N) and High Head (H) configurations, it delivers a rated power output of 90 kW with a maximum power consumption of 95 kW. Built to handle severe operating environments, the Mega offers max flow rates up to 160 L/s  and handles solids passage up to 10 mm

The Grindex Mega Submersible Drainage Pump is ideal for extreme dewatering tasks in open-pit mines, underground mines, quarries, tunnelling projects, and heavy industrial applications. It is rated for extreme submersion depths up to 75 metres (246 ft), liquid temperatures up to 40C, a pH range of 6 to 13, and liquid densities up to kg/m3

Key Details

  • Built with cast iron body parts, a stainless steel motor shaft, a wear-resistant Hard-Iron™ impeller, and durable Nitrile rubber diffusers.

  • Features an IP68-rated squirrel cage 3-phase induction motor (Insulation Class H) with integrated stator thermal contacts and a Pt100 sensor for real-time main bearing temperature monitoring.

  • Equipped with a double mechanical shaft seal system running in an oil compartment (tungsten carbide/tungsten carbide on both upper and lower seals). Supported by two single-row angular contact ball bearings at the main position and a cylindrical roller bearing for support.

  • Features 4″ or 6″ (DN 100-150) flanged discharge connections compatible with SMS, DIN, BS, or ANSI standards.
